HOMEWORK!!

I felt horrible that Sofia got so much homework! She is going to kindergartend for goodness sake! About an hours worth every night!
It brought back so many memories for me. When I was going to school here, I rembember coming home and going directly to the table and eating a snack and starting homework, for what seemed like hours at the time. Only after all the homework was done and checked by mom or dad were we allowed to go play.

The only homework she ever got at home in her Montessori school, pre shcool, was reading and drawing. I doubt she will get an hours worth every night when she start kindergarten.
The school system here is wonderful and I would have to say more advanced than the US. One thing I love is that ALL schools, private or public, have uniforms for the children to wear.
This coming week is her last week, then they go on a two week winter break. It has been an amazing experience for her that I hope she will always treasure. She better!
