We had to wake her up at 8am, first thing she wanted to see was if Santa and the Reindeer ate their snacks that she left for them. Santa left her a note and a full stocking. She slowly went through all of that, then she remembered the tree! As she opened each gift she spent some quality time with it before moving on to the next package. (This is not how I did it as a kid). Sofia appreciated each gift and took her time with each one. Needless to say it was a very long morning, but loads of fun.
