INVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL

Sofia learned the Pledge of Alligiance at a very young age. Nana Joan taught it to her on their many trips to the library. They would stop at the Flag and recite the words. Bill and I didn't even know she knew it, until we were all riding in the car one day (she was about 2 years old), she spotted a big flag (at a car dealership) and began to recite the words perfectly. Bill and I both stunned, asked each other if the the other had taught her the words, we both denied it of course.
A few months ago she introduced us to her imaginary girl friend LIBERTY. She played and talked to liberty like most kids do at this age (I find it a bit creepy). A few months later she introduced us to Liberty's pet JUSTICE, Justice is a dog, but sometimes a boy or even another girl. This morning she told me Justice was only a dog. Recently she introduced us to FURALL , Liberty's pet cat. This morning when we were having a conversation about it, I asked her to recite the Pledge for me again, which she did perfectly. I asked her what INDIVISIBLE meant. She said, rolling her eyes, "Mama, it means invisible, when they are so small you can't see them." Suddenly, it all made sense to me.
