BACK TO REALITY

Going on vacation takes you away from the reality of your life. Which makes the return that much more difficult. Not that I don't have a great life, but wouldn't it be great if your life felt like you were ALWAYS on vacation? Where do I sign up for that kind of life!?? I guess if I was on vacation, I wouldn't have this blog because my vacations would not have computers, phones or televisions.
Our first week back was exhausting, alarm clocks, appointments, dance classes, soccer practice, games, school, play dates, entertaining, work, commuting to work in that awful traffic! Yikes! How did we manage to get to all this? When we were in Chile, we admired the simple life we saw. Being early risers, one morning we took an early morning walk, 8:30AM! The small town which we were staying in, was a ghost town. Where was everyone? My Mom told us that everyone was still sleeping and how much later things got started there. Now you must know that in the city like Santiago, life is as normal as any large city, but in smaller villages not so at all. It was sure nice to be away, but we love our life here, it's exciting, fun and every day we are greatful for all we have and all we do. We are certainly blessed. It's nice to be home.
