I AM A DOG PERSON

I don't get Cat people. I don't care for cats, except when they are adorable little kittens. I feel they are unpredictable animals, and find it easier to read a dog than a cat. Not that there is anything wrong with cat people! My girlfriend and her family left on a week long vacation, they have 3 cats. Not being the cat lover, she did not ask me to look after them, fine by me. She did leave food and water out for them for the week and told another friend to look in on them, but told her it wasn't necessary. I guess that is the beauty of cats, no care needed. My friend did say she was worried about the emotional state of the cats while they were away. Hello?!! How would you like to be left for a week? (bad question, some of us moms might enjoy that!!).
So I had to dig out some pictures of my favorite dogs and show them off. Shiba is our dog, she is a 8 year old 27 pound mutt, Bill hates it when I call her that, but it's the truth, she is a Shiba Inu and American Eskimo mix and who knows what else! She is a wonderful dog, and puts up with whatever Sofia wants to do to her. Then there is Sadie, she is my second favorite dog on earth, she is the white Samoyed in the snow and she belongs to my niece and nephew in Salt Lake. Next there is Otis, Chocolate Lab, he is solid and strong and the best swimmer I know. Huey, the black with gray hair, he is old and lives in Chile and he is my sister's dog, spoiled untrained but so loyal. The brown dog is Baxter the boxer who belongs to a friend, when Shiba goes on to dog heaven, I want a boxer like Baxter. There you have it, this post has gone to the dogs!Posted by Picasa

Patti, I don't think you can swing on both, you are either a cat or dog person, I truly thought this cat phase you are in would pass, but I am starting to worry. ;-)
