She is into Spiderman!!

Sofia loves Spiderman!!
Her interest and love for him is still surprising to me and Bill.
Last night we were getting ready to go to the mall together
(where they have an indoor playground) and I asked her
to go pick out her clothes to wear. She bring me this Oshkosh
dress which is blue with red accents . She said to me
"Mommy, I want to wear this dress, it has Spiderman colors
on it, isn't it cute??!" Not my choice of clothing to wear to a
playground, but what could I do? Off we went looking like
Spiderman groupies.
We were in the store not long ago with my mom and
mom wanted to buy her this adorable Dora the Explorer plate and matching cup. Sofia saw the spiderman plate and matching cup and asked for that instead. Now they are her favorite. It cracks me up how kids are so easily influenced by this stuff. I must tell you that she has never seen a spiderman movie or cartoon until only a week ago, but she has been a fan for over two months! She does the web coming out of the hand thing and all. Now her favorite thing to watch on Tivo is not Dora anymore, she watched the Catch the Babies episode for 3 months straight, now that Spiderman is on Tivo, that is all she wants to watch, life for Sofia is all about Peter Parker, (aka Spiderman).
